O.K., let me preface this by saying "I am 110% not pregnant" I was just able to re-live a pregnancy craving tonight. When I was pregnant with Sara I craved the Wetzel Pretzel bitz, it had to be the bitz, one time I sent Eric out to get me some and they were all out of bitz and so he brought back a pretzel and it just didn't cut it. I even think one time I went to get some and Sherman Oaks was all out so I drove all the way to Burbank just to see if they had a Wetzel Pretzel in the mall (they didn't). This afternoon I was at the mall and Eric mentioned about getting a pretzel and so I got my pretzel bitz, as I was eating my pretzel bitz tonight I realized that they are just O.K. and not to die for as they had been when I was pregnant. It is just amusing to me that when you crave something when you are pregnant you will go far, far out of your way to get that prized item, then when you eat it, it tastes divine, even better than you had imagined it and now I am wondering what it was all about?!! Anyway, I'm not one for tagging but Brooke does have the best story about the most expensive Slurpee she sent Jason out for when she was pregnant one time so maybe check her blog and hopefully she'll post it.

Ha. That's hilarious. When I was pregnant with Leah, I craved hotdogs in a major way. We drove all over to find a Weinersnitzel and it was the yummiest hotdog ever. I'm sure it wasn't that good though considering the place was a disgusting dump. I don't even want to go back and try another one. I'd probably gag. What was I thinking?
I read that first line and it made me super curious.. I think you should have another your kids are super cute! So what about the crazy cravings you get and your not pregnant.. where do those come from, every month or so I start craving something new, like last month it was those No- bakes and I always wanted one late and night and would get Jon up to help me make them!
dude, i like food way better when i'm not prego, and am less cranky about it. glad to hear your story cause i makes me feel better with my crazy stuff in my head. i forgot about my slurpee, i'll have to ask jason to remind me and then i'll post it. my lifetime craving pregnant or not is ice cream.
That's a funny story Claire. And I love Brooke's on her blog, too. I just remember craving lemonade like crazy. I would buy gallons and gallons at the grocery store when they were on sale. It was all I could drink to keep from getting sick. Pregnant bodies are so strange!
