This is for you Jen Wise - Last night I got back from taking Britain for a walk, looked down the front of the house and saw tons of snails, what is the point of snails? do they actually have a purpose but to destroy all of the lovely vegetation and flowers? Anyway, Sara came out and we picked up all of those in plain view, its but a drop in the ocean I'm sure. Now here is where I get silly, what do I do with them now? Ruthlessly kill them? this is hard for me, they are still one of God's creatures after all. Eric suggested I called Chez Nous, maybe we could make our million in snails!!
A little of what the Thompson's are up to.

Yuck.
That is hilarious/horrible! I swear it is attack of the killer snails this spring! I left for my walk this morning and the sunlight was hitting my walkway just right and I saw snail slime everywhere leading to my garden so I took a minute to look around and they were having a buffet in there!! ARG!! They have gotten used to the snail killer/food I used to use...they laugh at me now when I put it in my garden so I will try the eggshells as soon as my hubby chows down on some eggs. ICK!! I struggle with the what to do with them as well. I hate to admit it but sometimes I have become so upset that I put them in a bucket and pour salt in there which instantly solves the problem. Because they have destroyed beautiful plants I bought and spent time on and in one night they are GONE! Then I think of how Steve Irwin would probably be very disapointed in me for that so now I usually take them out to the front of the apartment bldg where all of their other snail buddies live and dump them there! Solution?? I don't know!
WOAH!!! That is a TON of snails. We see them around our place, but never more than one or two at a time. Sheesh! That is insane.
